Origin Story

Every thread is a stigma pulled by hand from a flower that opens for a matter of days in late autumn. It takes a field to make a kilo, which is why saffron is graded with more care than almost anything else on this counter: Negin for the long unbroken red stigmas, Sargol for the cut red tips, Pushal with a trace of style left on, Dasteh tied in its traditional bunch. Grading is not marketing here — ISO 3632 puts numbers on colour, aroma and taste, and a lot without that test is a lot you cannot compare.
